Injection Molding

Injection molding is the process to make an object made of plastic. It can be used for mass production of things that are difficult to make or have a lot of spaces. The principles are that heated and melted plastic is injected into metal molds at high pressure, and after it cools down, the object is made out of this material.

ABS

It is lightweight and quickly shows flexible functions under different conditions. It can be molded to many different materials and show high heat, low temperature, or impact resistance. It also works well for drainage pipes, small kitchen appliances, or other auto parts.

Polyamide (PA / nylon)

PA is an incredibly strong material, and it is also incredibly resistant to wear and tear. It is commonly used for everything from auto parts, industrial components to medical equipment, and sports equipment.

Polycarbonate (PC)

It is transparent and very shock-resistant, so it is valuable for DVD, eyeglass lenses, cell phone facing covers, car dashboards, medical devices, and protective partitions.

High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS)

It’s cheaper than metal, because it is made from plastic that is molded and assembled quickly. It has a lot of applications, like interior signs and displays.

Polypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP) is resistant to heat, impact, shock and harsh chemicals. It’s also a good choice for food-safe tableware.
