These aluminum parts were very large and heavy. The plywood box weighed over 200 kg. Below are photos of the parts before they were cleaned. They were ready to fly to USA for an OEM equipment manufacturer. In this project all the parts were made with 6061 aluminum which is the most accessible material for metal machining. The request was for surface roughness Ra3.2 and we manufactured at Ra1.6 after machining.
